Daft-Cal is a unified calendar, task, and email workspace built for individuals and teams that plan around fiscal periods rather than standard months. It covers project and dependency management, capacity planning, and automatic scheduling you can actually interrogate.
The intent is to make complex planning trustworthy and affordable. Deterministic rules schedule the work, so any placement can be explained. AI is limited to interpreting natural-language requests into proposals a person approves. The scope is planning, scheduling, workload management, and the productivity workflows around them — not autonomous, AI-controlled decision-making.
It connects to the tools the work already lives in — Google Calendar, Gmail, Slack, and Notion — so capture happens where the request arrives, rather than in a separate place you have to remember to visit.
Built on Cloudflare’s edge, with a test suite that runs on every change. Not released yet — if you plan against fiscal periods and your current tools fight you over it, I want to hear about that before this ships.
