Grounded painterly illustration, weathered environments, restrained color, and stark typography give weight to a world that seems to have survived something it still refuses to explain.
Familiar mechanics are being rebuilt around probabilistic resolution, bounded variance, weighted outcomes, and interdependent state transitions. Skill does not simply increase a number; it reshapes distributions, constrains uncertainty, and changes the conditions under which success, failure, and partial outcomes can occur. Progression, conflict, and recovery are being tuned as connected functions rather than isolated features.
One continuing character carries every decision forward through a deep, branching skill architecture. Broad foundations narrow into committed specializations, long-horizon disciplines, and earned capabilities that change which problems can be approached and how. The result is not a collection of disposable builds, but one evolving path whose strengths, limitations, and history define the way the game is played.
Beneath the surface, simulation models and Monte Carlo testing examine thousands of possible outcomes.
